Fillers are filling substances that are used in order to add volume. They smooth out the furrows/folds and drooping that appear with the passing of the years. We have two types of fillers. Those that we call permanent, and those known as reabsorbent.

Currently, the tendency, given their innocuousness/harmlessness, is to insert reabsorbent fillers, as they are substances that do not create any sort of problem and the result is more natural and harmonious.

Permanent substances can have reactions involving immune system rejection in the long term, which is why they should be used in a prudent way and only in very specific cases.
